Yarn along Mother Bear

I so throughly enjoyed taking part in 'yarn along' with  Ginny  a few weeks ago that I decided to sign up for it again.  It's very interesting to see what other people are knittting/crocheting and reading, so much so that I was inspired to buy Anne of Green Gables, An irish country doctor and A tree grows in Brooklyn, all of which I read about on 'yarn along'.
So on to what i'm currently making and reading; I'm knitting another Mother Bear (if you haven't heard of the Mother Bear project please take a look) in the colours of my brother-in-law's favorite football team.  The other two 'girl' bears are knitted in the 'image' of my two sister-in-laws.
And i'm just flying through Anne of Green Gables, it's quite simply a sweet, funny, easy read;  I thought my son talked alot, but Anne (with an e), well she's just something else!

  1. I have never heard of the Mother Bear project - thanks for the link, it looks wonderful (though I've only ever knitted in 2 dimensions so I don't know if I'm up to the challenge!!!)
